YOGA MATS:

Our mats are European made and very durable. They are suitable for professional use or home practice. Spezial mats are lighter weight suitable for travelling and Komfort mats are excellent on hard and soft surfaces.

Spezial Mats - An excellent choice if you are the travelling sort as it weighs next to nothing and folds up without losing it's shape. If you are into having 2 mats then this mat compliments the Black Mat; you can fold it up for extra hand support in handstand or for a non slip platform practicing drop backs onto a chair etc.

STRAPS:

The strap is one piece of yoga equipment that everyone must have and its the cheapest! There is nothing at home that can substitute for a strap with a side release strap - adjustable, exact and efficient. And we would recommend you have 2; one for each leg in baddha konasana or malasana and make one of those straps an extra long one for the work required in supta padangustasana.

BOLSTERS:

A great gift to give to anyone practicing yoga.  It accesses all the divine, supported, restorative work.

Standard Pune Bolster: A round cylindular bolster, measuring 800mm long. Made from a non fade, non shrink cotton drill fabric. The bolster has a removable washable cover and a cotton drill inner.  Filled with a firm recycled cotton which allows the bolster to flatten slightly into an oblong shape but does not lose its support or height. This is really important in choosing a suitable yoga bolster; firm yet supple.

Yoga Arts Wooden Yoga Equipment is made from Soloman Islands Plantation Rosewood with an oil finish. The timber yard that supplies Yoga Arts wood is passionate about working with the people of Soloman Islands, taking gifts of tools to the islands frequently - helping the local community in more ways than just trade.We have both the foam blocks and the wooden blocks but nothing substitutes the ascetics of practicing with wood.

WEDGE:

Where the heels and wrists need additional support the wedge is used. Heels in Adho Mukha Svanasana or hands in Urdhva Dhanurasana; the wedge is a stable even support. Used also behind the spine in pranayama to help open the chest. $36

SPIKE:

Placed into the upper back, the spike accesses areas of the body that often remain unopened. It provides the tools to find the balance back into the natural curvatures of the spine. Also used in Chatushpadasana under the sacrum. $150

MINI WHALER -- the anti aging apparatus:

We call this the Anti Aging Apparatus (the 'AAA' with a triple A rating!) We all know how much computers have made our lives easier but it comes at a cost? The hunched over computer look. Teenagers looking like old men with collapsed spines.

I have this great t shirt - it has 5 images across it starting with an ape, growing up into man standing upright and back down to man hunched over a computer - you guessed it - the ape and man hunch over the computer look the same. Have we really evolved? Is the slogan.

So back to the mini whaler - the anti aging apparatus - for every hour you are hunched over a computer you need 5 minutes over the whaler to reverse the effects - forget micro pauses - this is a serious spinal compression preventative. If it looks slightly torturous then you know its goning to good!

EVERFLEX ladder:

This is by far the most useful and versatile piece of yoga equipment Yoga Arts has. The EVERFLEX ladder gives full body support bringing more freedom in invertions, backbends, standing asanas,shoulders stretches etc. 

The main advantage with the EVERFLEX ladders are the two ladders on either side provide different heights  without needing additional bolts and ropes; with the pelvic sling adjustable to any level on the ladder, especially interesting for those that love height and adventure!.

EYEBAG:

Linseed filled silk outer- a divine way of calming and cooling the eyes at the end of practice or during pranayama. Also used to reduce headaches.
