Friday: 9:30-11.00am 10 week course - 4 terms per year - school term only.
The best class of the week. After 9 months of nurturing the pregnancy we now get to nurture the babies as well as the mum. We recommend coming to the mother and baby yoga class - 8 weeks (plus) after the birth. Your yoga practice knowledge that was acquired during the pregnancy continues; with the bonus of having your baby alongside you. The class is mostly for you, athough your baby gets all the attention they need as well.
The babies are amazing in this class; they watch and listen as attentively as you do, with the occasional cry to let us know they still need us. You can hold them as you practice, or have them beside you - whatever feels right on the day. It is definetely about inclusion not exclusion.
 Michelle and one of her twin boys Expect to get around 45 minutes practice in the hour and a half, the remainder of the time taken up with caring for the baby, and yes in some cases babies! In one course we had 3 sets of twins in the same class. I think they were the quietest ones!
 Suzi teaching Kama You do need to have had some previous yoga experience; Participation in the Suzi Carson Pregnancy Program guarantees you a space on this course. 'I don't try to teach over the noise of the babies so there is a lot of individual teaching and attention'.
 Natasha & Cushla (both asleep I think) After all that effort you have put into your pregnancy practice don't forget that practicing yoga after birth is vitally important. It restores the structural stability that may have been compromised during the pregnancy and birth and alleviates stress and fatigue that comes with being a new mum.
